Kevin Watson has 30 years of experience in agriculture with more than 20 years devoted to national and international food safety projects. Prior to his position with AG Food Safety Solutions, Kevin was the Director of Food Safety at BioSafe Systems, where he developed and implemented sanitation programs for packing, harvesting, bottling and processing plants.
In addition, Kevin’s experience includes management of a Fresh Express food safety team nationally and in Mexico. Kevin has been responsible for food safety symposiums and training events with industry influencers, FDA and food safety professionals. Kevin also worked for the USDA, both at the state and federal level. In this position, Kevin managed the first food safety pilot project in Sinaloa, Mexico and helped develop the first USDA food safety audit metric.
Kevin’s vast experience includes auditing with an emphasis in sanitation and is a certified ISO 9000 Lead Auditor. Kevin is PSA certified and is an active member of LGMA’s technical sub-committee and is a member of the Yuma Safe Produce Council.
